1 tube Annie's Organic Flaky Biscuits -16oz
or any buttery biscuits of your preference
¼ cup granulated sugar
1¼ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ cup butter, melted
¼ cup dark brown sugar
¼ cup walnut/pecan, chopped
handful of raisins or craisins
In a mixing bowl, mix ¼ cup of granulated sugar and 1¼ teaspoon of cinnamon, set aside.
Take out and separate the biscuits from the package, then cut each biscuit into 4-6 pieces and toss them into the cinnamon sugar mix. Make sure each biscuit piece is coated evenly.
Grease your muffin tin with butter and place cinnamon sugar coated biscuit pieces into the tins. Try to only fill the tin to a little above halfway because when baked they will rise significantly.
Add ¼ cup of melted butter to the remaining cinnamon sugar mix if there is any left, and add in ¼ cup of dark brown sugar, mix well.
Sprinkle some chopped walnut and raisins, then spoon generous amounts of cinnamon brown sugar mixture onto each muffin.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, bake for 15 mins or until they are all cooked through.
